Larry started taking piano lessons in 2nd grade. Learned to sing harmony in 4th grade, Started trombone in 5th grade. Added tuba as a sophomore. Acoustic guitar as a junior. Bass guitar 6 months later. In college he played professionally in several rock bands, including the Illusions. At times Jim Stringer and Steve Hall (KMHof inductees) played in that group. Music has been and continues to be a huge part of his life, as he is currently worship leader at his church. Larry is also technically minded. He started repairing guitar amps in Jr high. In 1963 he received his dream job working for Ed Down at Audio House studios. He learned all aspects: from tape editing, studio engineering, on location recording, and disk mastering. He later became interested in computers and wrote payroll, bookkeeping, and production scheduling software. He worked with Ed until his death. Larry was married in 1973 and has 3 children, a foster daughter, 5 grandchildren., and a great-granddaughter He moved on into computers and was part owner of a computer store. He was an instructor at DeVry for 3 years and moved into computer programing. In 1991 Larry added live sound to his pallet with Audio House Sound. Larry has been sound engineer for a wide range of musicians, from A Cappella to rock, country, EDM and Asian.

Salina native Cash Hollistah has accepted a position on the Kansas Music Hall of Fame Board of Directors. His primary function with the organization will be as Social Media Manager, since he has extensive corporate experience in that area. Mr. Hollistah, 40, also has impressive career credentials in the fields of music, videography, advertising and marketing, radio, arts education and public speaking. There is a $1,000 annual Cash Hollistah Scholarship given to a central Kansas high school student who enriches their community through their art each year.

Dan Smith has been in the music business for over fifty years as a drummer, band leader, booking agent and recording engineer. He is a founding member of Riverrock, a Kansas City based bluegrass and country rock band that formed in 1974 and performed throughout the Midwest traveling as far as Canada and east as far as Maryland. They produced four albums, one (Midwest Man) was a Billboard Magazine “recommended LP” and the last one (Shuddup & Party!) received airplay in over a dozen countries. The band shared the stage and billing with dozens of headline acts from Alabama to Trisha Yearwood. Riverrock was inducted into the Kansas Music Hall of Fame in 2011. www.riverrockkc.com Dan Smith Agency (Est. 1979) is a talent agency and the parent company for all of Dan Smith's music business interests, including Riverrock, Dan Smith Agency Recording Studio, Kaw Point Records and Prairie Beach Music (ASCAP). Dan Smith Agency is a member of the Kansas Fairs and Festivals Association and the Missouri Association of Fairs and Festivals. He was inducted into both association's Halls of Fame 2022 and 2024 (respectively).

Starting as a promoter in Hayes, KS during the late 70’s, Rouse has produced hundreds of shows, both in KS and nationally as well, working with major name acts in both Country and Pop music. Wayne founded Country Stampede, a 3 day Manhattan music fest which is celebrating its 21st year. Wayne Rouse was inducted into the KS Fairs & Festivals Hall of Fame in the 1990’s.
