With a heavy heart, I must report that my dear friend and fellow board member, vice president Danny Fleming of Beloit, KS died yesterday, July 13th, after a sudden Illness. He was 72. A founding member of the KSMHoF, he served on the board early on, eventually becoming vice-president. Danny had a vast knowledge of Kansas music and musicians, and ran the day to day operation of the organization (merchandise sales, membership, etc.). Together with his wife Lynn (secretary/ treasurer), they are the heart and soul of the KSMHoF, and his loss is irreplaceable. Deepest condolences are sent to his wife Lynn, his family, friends, and all who ever had the great fortune to know him.
In 2016, Danny Fleming was inducted into the KSMHoF with his band Billy Bob & the Belaires.
